  1. How can I add multiple contacts to my pager list?
Create a list of your contacts' names and pager numbers in your favorite spreadsheet program. iPage is able to import any correctly formatted list (see next question) saved in the Comma-Separated Value (CSV) file format.
  2. How do I make a contact list spreadsheet that is compatible with iPage?
Create a spreadsheet in which each contact is entered on a separate row. Enter the contact's first name, last name, and ten-digit pager number (with all spaces, dashes, and parentheses omitted) in the first, second, and third columns, respectively. Export the spreadsheet as a comma separated file or CSV.
  3. How do I import contacts into my pager list via email?
To import contacts from a CSV file, email the file to your iOS device as an attachment. Open the email in Apple's Mail app, and tap on the attachment. The spreadsheet will open in Mail. Tap on the button in the upper right hand corner of the screen (a square with an arrow coming out) to open the attachment in iPage. iPage then adds new contacts to your contact list.
  1. What is iPage?
iPage is an app for Apple iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) used for sending messages to alphanumeric pagers.
  2. What paging systems does iPage work with?
iPage can be made compatible with just about any company that uses SNPP. The default carriers for iPage are: American Messaging, Aquis Communications, Cook Paging, Teletouch Paging, UCom Paging, and USA Mobility. To add compatibility with other paging companies, email support and request your company be added.
  3. How do I add contacts to my pager list?
Contacts can be added to iPage one at a time on the iPhone by tapping the '+' button in the upper left corner of the Contacts. Contacts can also be entered from the devices's Address Book. Tapping on the 'Info' tab brings up a menu. Tapping on the 'Address Book' tab opens up the user's Address Book allowing importing of pager numbers they choose.

  1. How do I delete contacts from my Contacts list?
Scroll through the Contacts list to the contact you want to delete. Swipe to the left on that cell and tap the 'Delete' button that shows on the right of the cell.
  2. How can I add a contact to my Favorites list?
In the Contacts list, tap on the blue info button next to the person of interest. Tapping on this button (as opposed to the contact's name) allows you to edit the details for that contact. To add the person to your favorites list, toggle the Favorite setting to 'On'.
  3. How can I remove contacts from my Favorites list?
To remove a contact from your Favorites list, tap on the blue arrow to the right of the name. Toggle the Favorite setting to 'Off'. To remove all of your favorites from the Favorite's List at once, tap the trash icon button within the Favorites's List.
  1. What is the Ad Hoc button for?
Ad Hoc paging is for sending text messages to a pager that you do not wish to add to the Contacts list. Tapping the Ad Hoc button brings up a numeric key pad. Enter the ten-digit pager number. Next, tap the arrow button in the upper right hand corner of the screen to pull up the Message screen and keyboard.
  2. Can I export my contacts?
Yes. You can email your whole contact list or just your favorites list. Tap the "Action" button in the navigation bar at the top of the list you want to export. This will compose an email with the respective list attached as a CSV file which can then be sent and imported by another user or just kept someplace as a backup copy
